ENTERPRISING COMMUNITY

INITIATIVE ENCOURAGES THE CREATION OF
LOCAL ECONOMY AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The social accountability of an infrastructure company the size of Camargo Corrêa Infra consists of bringing better quality of life and development opportunities to society. To this end, the Camargo Corrêa Institute acts as a company partner, using business expertise and technology to find solutions for vulnerable communities.

The Comunidade Empreende (Enterprising Community) Program promotes entrepreneurship by encouraging existing initiatives in the regions where it operates, creating incubators for local and solidary economy projects, supporting start-ups with a social impact and local entrepreneurs, and studying opportunities for productive insertion, encouraging the implementation of new business models that drive self-sustaining projects.

The Camargo Corrêa Institute suggests solutions that broaden access to credit for local entrepreneurs so they can develop professional training activities for young people and, when possible, develop a connection between the community and the supply chain of clients and partners of works in progress.

Community leaders are invited to discuss alternatives for facing complex social problems related to religious, gender and racial diversity, inclusion of refugees and immigrants, and preservation of cultural values in the communities served.
